Trained demolition laborers for strip-out, debris loading, boom lift operation, and site cleanup — on your schedule and under your GC.
DSI provides trained demolition labor for stripping, loading, cleanup, and manual removal tasks on active construction and demolition sites. Our laborers understand site safety, work within GC protocols, and keep pace with the surrounding trades without creating supervision overhead for the project manager.
Available as part of a full demolition scope or as standalone crews for a specific phase of work.
Machines do the heavy breaking, but a lot of demolition is still hand work: stripping finishes, cutting out framing and drywall, loading debris, cleaning up after other trades and keeping the site safe and passable. DSI's labor crews cover that work so your own staff and trades stay on their scopes.
Labor is quoted by the day or hour, or as part of a fixed-price demolition scope. The main factors are:
See fixed-price or time-and-material for how we bill.
DSI laborers work under our Cal/OSHA safety program and the GC's site rules, with the PPE, fall protection and lift training the task requires. Nobody starts stripping finishes before the asbestos survey and any abatement are complete, and silica-generating work is done with water or vacuum controls.
