What We Do

DSI operates DSI-wrapped Peterbilt Super 10 dump trucks for concrete debris removal, soil haul-off, and material transport on active construction sites. Available as part of integrated DSI scopes or as standalone trucking capacity for contractors who need additional haul-out.

Our drivers know construction sites — they stage correctly, load efficiently, and coordinate directly with your superintendent without creating delays.

What a Super 10 Is

A Super 10 is a ten-wheel dump truck with a trailing booster axle that lowers behind the rear axles. The extra axle spreads the weight so the truck can legally carry a heavier load than a standard ten-wheeler, while staying more maneuverable on a job site than a truck and transfer trailer. For heavy material like broken concrete and soil, that means fewer trips for the same tonnage.

What We Haul

  • Broken concrete from slab, foundation and flatwork removal, taken to recycling
  • Asphalt from asphalt grinding and pavement removal
  • Dirt hauling and soil export from trenching, footings and site work
  • Mixed demolition debris from building and site demolition
  • Base and fill material deliveries when the scope calls for them

How DSI Trucking Works

  1. Confirm material, estimated tonnage or loads, haul route, dump site and site access.
  2. Stage trucks where the loader or excavator can work without blocking other trades.
  3. Load to legal weight, tarp, and keep haul roads and street frontage clean.
  4. Haul to recycling facilities or the approved dump site, with load tickets for your records.
  5. Adjust truck count to the production rate so the excavator never waits.

What Affects the Cost of Hauling

Trucking is billed by the hour, by the load or included in a fixed-price scope. The main factors are:

  • Material type and total tonnage
  • Round-trip distance to the recycling facility or dump site
  • Dump, recycling or tipping fees for the material
  • Loading rate on site and wait time
  • Prevailing wage requirements on public works

For rough slab weights and how haul-off fits into a removal price, see concrete removal cost.

Safety & Compliance

Our drivers hold commercial licenses, stage and back up with spotters on active sites, and load to legal limits. Loads are tarped, and we keep track-out off public streets as stormwater rules require. Concrete and asphalt go to recycling facilities wherever possible instead of landfill.

Common Questions
Can I hire just your trucks without other DSI services?
Yes. Super 10s are available as standalone trucking for contractors who need additional haul-out capacity on their site.
How much notice do you need to dispatch?
Same-day and next-day dispatch are available for most jobs. Call to confirm availability — we work around your site schedule.
Do your drivers coordinate directly with the site superintendent?
Yes. DSI drivers stage and load to your superintendent's schedule directly — no middleman, no delays waiting for load coordination.
Do you haul dirt as well as concrete?
Yes. We haul soil export from trenching, footings and site work, along with concrete, asphalt and mixed demolition debris.
Where does the concrete go?
Clean concrete and asphalt go to recycling facilities where they are crushed into base material. Mixed debris goes to an approved facility.
How do you bill trucking?
By the hour, by the load, or as part of a fixed-price demolition or removal scope, whichever fits the project.
