Hydraulic breaking, debris loading, and haul-off for any scale of concrete removal in Southern California.
When concrete needs to come out in volume, DSI brings the right combination of machine power and crew efficiency to get it done. We mount hydraulic hoe rams on CAT excavators for heavy slab and foundation breaking, deploy mini excavators for confined interior spaces, and coordinate debris loading directly into DSI dump trucks — so the breaking and hauling move together as one operation.
The result is a faster, cleaner scope than splitting breaking and hauling across two subs.
Concrete breaking is for anything that has to come out: slabs, foundations and footings, walls, curbs and gutters, sidewalks and flatwork, pads, pools and equipment bases. It is part of almost every remodel, site clearing and redevelopment project, from a single trench in a warehouse to removing every slab on a commercial site.
Removing concrete efficiently is less about the breaker and more about the whole sequence: saw cutting where clean edges are needed, breaking into pieces that load quickly, and trucks ready so material never piles up on site.
Every job is quoted from its actual scope, fixed-price or hourly. The main factors are:
Breaking generates dust, so we use water suppression and follow Cal/OSHA's silica requirements for breaking and jackhammering. Utility locates are confirmed before any equipment moves onto the slab.
Removed concrete is hauled to recycling facilities rather than landfill wherever possible.
