Full structural demolition for commercial buildings, retail, and mixed-use structures across Southern California.
DSI handles the full building tear-down scope — from interior strip-out to structural demolition to final debris removal. We work with general contractors on ground-up demolition of commercial buildings, retail centers, warehouses, and residential structures.
Our equipment includes large-reach excavators for structural work and skid steers for interior clearing and material handling. When DSI finishes a tear-down, the pad is clean and ready for the next trade.
Building demolition is needed when a structure is coming down to make way for redevelopment, when a damaged or obsolete building has to be removed, or when part of a building is being taken out for a major remodel or addition. DSI demolishes commercial buildings, retail centers, warehouses and industrial buildings, and residential structures.
Because we self-perform the whole scope, from strip-out and structural demolition to foundation removal, concrete breaking and haul-off, the GC has one demolition sub accountable for the schedule and a clean pad at the end.
Every job is quoted from its actual scope, fixed-price or hourly. The main factors are:
Before demolition starts, California requires the right permits and, in most air districts, an asbestos survey and notification. We work from the GC's permit set and coordinate with the abatement contractor, and utilities are disconnected and verified before equipment moves in.
Water suppression runs during all structural demolition, and work zones are controlled to protect the public, adjacent structures and other trades.
DSI provides building demolition from our Riverside yard across the Inland Empire, including Corona, Ontario, San Bernardino, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga, Moreno Valley, Temecula, Jurupa Valley, and we mobilize for projects in Southern California, the High Desert, Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley, the Central Valley, Northern California.
